i mean, the only reason its a country is because the British empire used it as a convicts colony for free labour. so i guess its technically Britain's fault, so sorry we created Australia i guess?

It's not just that either, back in the 80s UC Davis said, "Hey plant these, they've got no predators or parasites!" So the Sacramento area has a ton of them, but they now attract these parasites that cover the trees in the millions. They look like little sticky white dots, and if you want to get it treated it's thousands of dollars. It's wonderful.
