Life isn’t for everyone, if you’ve sat through half a movie and it’s sucked every second up until then, then no one can give you shit for standing up and walking out. There’s no reason to expect that the movie is suddenly going to get great in the end.

Growing up, whenever I would get hurt or get sick, my Dad would always say something like "Son I wish I could take the pain away from you, just absorb it all so you don't hurt anymore". Well...

Here's my issue: Why shouldn't they pass on the pain? The pain they give to their mother, father, spouse, etc will only last a few months before they move on. Their pain will last for years upon years possibly for their entire life. Why should their families be selfish and force them to live through constant and unending pain just because they don't want a small amount of temporary pain?
