Technically the plastic flower never had life so it die yes, but at the same time it could be considered dead already since death can be called the absence of life.

Mostly from "and things" ie. dead plankton, the chances of it actually containing material originating from dead dinosaur are pretty low.

Well technically, since the plastic flower never had life in itself in the first place, it can’t die. It’s already dead, but it can’t die.
