The cringe is bad on these. When I first got my leg amputated in 2006, girls flocked to me. Now Im not bragging.I had no clue what was happening or why they had the slightest intrest in me. At that point in my life I hated my physical self. I just had amputed a leg that I wouldnt let anyone see due to the massive shame I felt bc of the way it looked. So, still having that self hatred and being a new amputee, I had no clue how to tell if a girl liked me. Hell I didnt like me. I just look back and think wow. But silver linning. The girls I speak of all worked in the same Ruby Tuesdays as me. They built my confidence in myself up and made me learn how to respect and talk to girls, bc I was the only guy server vs 23 girls. Still didnt lose my v-card till I was 24, but if I could hug and thank those girls today I so would. Moral of the story, missed opportunities may not be missed at all, just stepping stones to the person you are today. I still cringe at how blind I was though :)

Sorry. Just wanted to share that what you think of yourself is no way what the rest of the world may see in you. I was on the verge of insanity and suicide. But as one of these girls taught me "If God or the universe hasnt taken you out of this world yet, then you have a purpose. Even if its to hold a door for someone tomorrow who's having a bad day".
