When they say non-canon does that mean it's extended universe, alternate universe or fan work? Because you can say there's a non-canon comic for lots of things if you include fan work.
Non-canon usually refers to one-off comics that a publisher releases as a "what if" but isn't connected to any of the lore. Kind of like how Superman got Red Son, where the "what if" was if Superman landed in the USSR instead of Kansas.
