With your comment, you seem to imply that you have some form of autism (correct me if I’m wrong). You also state that as a young child, you never had issues with getting your hair cut, therefore implying that young autistic boys don’t have a problem with barbers. However, as silvermyth stated, autism is on a spectrum, so this particular boy likely has a more severe case. Unless you don’t have any form of autism whatsoever in which case I don’t really get your first comment

Also, this child is sensitive to having his hair touched, as well as certain noises, so the barber works around that. Apparently it's not uncommon for sensory issues to accompany autism. A simple Google search for "autism haircut" yields many articles that explain it more.

That's just ignorant. I've done developmental psychology / psychopathology on my degree and it doesn't mean you're all the same
