it happens too when you don't have a psychosis. it's basicly a "accident" when your body going to sleep faster than your mind. if your mind is awake, but your body is asleep, dream perceptions and reality sensory perception gonna mix together when you're inside the REM phase.. then you will experience this stuff. it's a normal thing, every human experience this.. but most times you don't remember it because your mind goes to sleep sooner than your body under normal circumstances so you don't perceive this sensations. but they are there - every night. (p.s: sleep paralysis will happen often at the same time, most people have fears because this.. if you are in this state, just relax. it's normal & if you concentrate on one of your body part, the paralysis will fade away in like a few seconds to 1 minute and you can then move again).

it's a state of mind when your body is asleep, but your mind is still awake. it's called "hypnogenic state" (in german: "Hypnogener Zustand"). it's basicly a state of mind where sensory perception from the dream and the sensory perception of your sensory organs mix together. then you will hear this sounds, see lights / flashes, feel stuff like vibrating etc.
