I honestly have no idea. If mortals swim in the Styx, they become invulnerable (e.g. Achilles), however, you must have something that ties you to mortality, some kind of weak point to balance it out (Achilles's heel) at which you are very vulnerable. To have this you have to either refrain a body part from touching the water, or you have to mentally cling to your humanity and choose a weak spot. If you are unable to do so, you basically burn and dissolve. Considering we are not knowledgeable enough to know if fish can do this, nor the reaction of Sharon (guardian of the Styx, if I remember correctly) if something tries to sneak over, I choose to rather not take chances. But yeah, I have no idea tbh.
Why is it when dogs died people sympathise but when pet fishes died it's considered funny and funeral is something that seems too much. Pet fishes are part of family as much as pet dog is. (T.T) the sadness is the same. I skipped school for 3 days when my 5y.o goldfish died.
