Bu...bu... electrocuted means executed by electricity... you mean shocked, cause when i read it i though the dumb bitch killed herself because she didn't listen.
electrocute: injure or kill someone by electric shock.
It's not just death. This was a valid use of the word. Merriam-Webster does not rule in your favor.
Dilly dilly.
That's not what electric engineering classes thought me but ok, but a shock is a shock and electrocution is apparently severe injury or death by electricity. No one i know says electrocute if someone got a static shock or touched something that shocks them, they say it when someone dose something stupid like touches a live wire unprotected or puts like a fork in an electric socket.
Not angry (not at you at least) just don't like when people get confused over the word and i get seriously worried for people's health and safety when they say things like that and it was just a small static shock. It's like saying you were stabbed yesterday when you just accidentally pricked your finger with a sowing needle.
But if she only would've got a light static shock, she wouldn't sue someone. We don't know the situation, for all we know it's not impossible that she was heavily injured and one can therefor say "electroluted"
