Well considering that robbing a bank is a federal charge automatically at least in the US anyhow ten years would be the average for that crime if convicted and you don't have the money/fame to pay people off.

Oh yeah, I mean if successful, you'd probably need around 200k to live off of for ten years. And that would really be the bare minimum. And I don't think most successful bank robberies net that much.

Last bank robbery I heard about local to me netted him $300 and he got arrested an hour later buying lottery tickets with the money.
