I’m pc master race all the day but windows has been so slow on my pc lately, no idea why. I startup and the fucking task bar crashes the whole computer, how is that possible?
Check the start up menu and see what is launching when Windows boots up. It's probably a bunch of BS bloat that really doesn't need to run in the background constantly.
Wi-Fi controller, Windows updater, anti-virus? Sure.
Spell check for Word, single application update monitors, media player B.S.? Not when you aren't effing using them, that's for damned sure.
Also look at the applications that are for features that your machine doesn't even have, like Bluetooth, touch screen and on screen keyboard. Don't have them or use them? Turn that shit off. Desktop PC connected to a LAN? You do not need power monitor/regulation or Wi-Fi. Kill it.
Turn off the extraneous horseshit and you may find that your PC runs even faster than it did when new.

I’ll see what works, disk has been running at 100% lately and I’ve tried a few online suggestions with little results
Ugh... I just switched my anti-virus software and had to basically reset everything. I had to go back and disable like 25 programs that would run at startup. I had to google half of them to figure out wtf they were... that was annoying.
Install a PC monitor to clean up the PC regularly, 360 total security is free and its speedup section checks the startup items and recommends turning them on or off
Well, I think Mac is a far better solution for people who are not really familiar with computers. I gave my mom a Windows, then a Linux (Ubuntu) and finally a 10years old Mac : since she's got it, she's never called me once to say "it's not working" or "it's slow".
If you're lazy and just need a reliable computer for internet and office work, go for a Mac : it costs more, but it lives much longer.
If you need a gaming machine or you want to make 3D stuff : go for a Windows.
If you're masochistic and like to spend hours just to connect your computer to a printer but you're obsessed with security, go for a Linux.
