how about, it can do both? just don't drive like a dick around cars with children- better yet, don't drive like a dick at all.

If that's true then,
1. Why are there Baby On Board *stickers*? It implies that the first responders should be searching for a baby even when the vehicle is driven without one on board,
2. Why don't the people who transport babies remove the cling or suction cup versions when there ISNT a baby on board for that particular trip?

Essentially, we've made these meaningless.
