I honestly think the cop recognized Bobby Singer and wanted to arrest him to help Michael, but got in trouble because it wasn't in fact glaze (nor meth) but salt and that gave him away to the boys.

My uncle was arrested in Florida and part of the charge was "drug paraphernalia" ... he had a Big Gulp straw *IN A BIG GULP*
