Imagine having to apologize for winning. What is wrong with people these days?

It was because of mercy rules or something. Like you can beat your opponent but it's kind of rude to beat them that hard.

That's some bullshit. Winners make the world go 'round, and denying their accomplishments will only drag down whatever society is holding them back.

"I'm sorry on a fair playing field you sucked so we apologise for the chasm between our skill"

I think it was because they had played very aggressively and hadn't even changed the players (the ones who were benched were new players and certainly could have used the experience, esp when they had a decisive victory).

When I was in school, if a team got 50 points ahead the game was called to avoid things like this.
