And that's what many people don't understand; that because you had to keep it together during some really bad stuff, and managed to do it, you now have no more reserve left and fall apart at the most trivial crap.
It's like running a marathon for so long that you pull several muscles in the process, but you crossed the finish line. Now you need time to heal those muscles and can't really walk all that well anymore.
People that use the term "metal illness" to describe themselves are usually self diagnosed attention seeking idiots. Mentally ill is such a broad term it doesn't really mean anything other than there's nothing physically wrong with you. It's like someone talking about their "physical illness." They could have a runny nose, be riddled with cancer, have an ear infection, have multi organ failure. You just don't know because physical illness is too broad of a term to really mean much. Your "mental illness" could be a mild anxiety attack in certain rare situations or, if left unrestrained, you skin people alive, then draw pictures on the walls using blood and feces while wearing their face. You trying to explain someone's "mental illness" without any indication of what they're suffering from is even more ridiculous.
People who bitch about people using the phrase "mental illness" are usually insensitive assholes who have never experienced any mental illness. The phrase was used because the situation applies to several mental illnesses. That doesn't make them an attention seeking idiot.
Oh boy no wonder you're stressed, have you thought about the pros and cons?
Eh just ignore it, although it might be cause of notifications, should we make a chat?
