Yuck. Why are there even fonts that aren’t comic sans?

i work in graphic arts and when customers ask if they can pick a font, i tell them they can advise on fonts after set up, as we have about 500,000 variants on file. One person even asked to go through them to choose, i said "no", he picked Arial
