I've found the only people that use the word "disrespect" are loud, obnoxious, self-absorbed assholes with an over-inflated sense of self worth that feel everyone should kiss their ass for no other reason than they exist. "Disrespecting" these people could be as simple as saying "no" when they demand something.
I do not understand and I'm really butthurt. I see the little rectangle with a triangle on the right... but... what does that mean?
edit: now that I figured out how to view memes that don't show up right as I scroll I have now seen the meme and understand now.
I am old... but I am happy.
It's not disrespecting you to expect you to do a chore once in a while likes pick up your clothes so mom can vacuum or mow the lawn so dad can repair "your car" (which is really the car they own and insure, but is dedicated for your use).
"When you get home from school, could you pick up sticks in the yard so I can mow when I get home from working and grocery shopping?"
"OMG, they treat me like.a slaaaave."
The post says nothing about chores. This is more about people who expect special treatment because they're " your elders " or the ones who decide they want to act like children and when you call them out you're being " disrespectful "
bork.
