Aesthetically speaking

If the only reason you want an animal is for aesthetic reasons, you have a problem, and that was her opening line, meaning it was her priority.

Also considering it's a shelter, you don't have many options and shouldn't be looking at one if you want a very specific breed

But it turned out that they DID have a cat of the breed she wanted. But apparently it was more important to grind that ax against someone who wanted a certain kind of cat than to find a home for it.

Some of you guys are sure angry at someone for wanting a certain kind of pet. So she tried the shelter first to see if they had one that she wanted that would also be saved from euthanasia. I don't get the condescension towards someone who has a specific idea of the pet they want.
