He was depressed and messed up on drugs, Cortney Love didn't help matters, but he still had some basic human decentcy. Almost forgot to mention the music.

Miss him so much. He just had a good, genuine soul. It was impossible not to love him after meeting/seeing/reading about/talking to him. I hope he's resting easy now with no pain or anger or depression.

Did you ever read some of his poetry that came out after his death? Some of it was disturbing, in a "I need to punch that guy" sort of way.

I dunno man. If you think talking about your drug problem is gonna make kids wanna do drugs then I got bad news for you if you plan on blowing your brains out with a shotgun any time soon.

True, but there wasn't any glamorizing of the drug use. He kept it quiet, kept it safe, and Courtney push him into Mount Doom.
