He wouldn't be disappointed he'd just be sad for the sea flap flap and try to teach this person that their ways are wrong.

In the cases of people who did go out and kill rays afterwards, he would have been very disappointed, and heartbroken. It got to the point his wife have to speakout publicly to tell people thats not what he would've wanted

People also killed a lot of non lethal species instead of actual sting ray, so not also were they taking revenge, they were also venting it on the wrong animal a lot of the time.

Steve Irwrin wouldn’t have made an animals death a novelty. However, if this just so happens to be that same exact stingray then yeah screw you seaflap!

He didn't have a cruel bone in his body. He would've apologized for scaring the animal that killed him.
