The inside of your tooth is pulpy, much like an orange peel. It is also extremely sensitive to heat and cold or any touch at all. Even running your tongue over an abscessed or exposed tooth would cause excruciating pain. During the 1600s, people with infected teeth sometimes committed suicide from the pain. So one could only imagine this agony.
Not an expert, but those two pierced teeth look like prostethics? Looks like they were maybe pulled out (the hole in the jaw) and then tied together with the other teeth so I'm guessing there wouldn't have been any pain at all, except for the pulling out part but egyptians probably had anesthetics.
