We never had a lot of money growing up and we lived in a small town where everyone knows and grew up with everyone. My mom found a job a town over and had to drive back and forth everyday. See her tags on her car went out for more than 6 months but cops knew her and knew how tough it was for us so they let her slide. Till one day...
See there was this rookie cop learning the ways. He was with a cop friend of my mom's and they were doing a parked cop car to catch speeders on the road she used.
Mom flys by and the rookie sees her tags. He goes her tags are months over due let's get her. And the cop friend says Nope that fish goes free. The rookie is flipping out saying let's get her it's an easy ticket. Cop friend says see if we catch her and give her a ticket we will have to explain how she been getting by us for so long and not getting a ticket. She is not worth it.
That day the cop friend told my mom the whole story and pleaded her to PLEASE get her tags fixxed.
