It's confusing living in America with this nonsense. It's true among most people. It's hard when mixed too, you can't be both and neither side accepts you because you're not enough of what they are. It's truly pathetic.
I have family that does this. I grew up around white people, and as a result i don't speak in ebonics. I've always had to deal with my family looking at me different and saying shit like "you sound white". Fortunately for me i couldnt give a damn about what my moronic relatives think, i want to be something. And now i look at them selling weed and stealing cars and I'm happy I didn't care to conform.
