It's japan, they dont have THE fourth amendment, just a law with the same purpose. Also when it comes to this I would rather have a polinated earth and being watched by the government rather than sitting in my house eating paper but not under surveilance. The third option would be to stop killing the bees, but neither the US nor China have any interests in that because apparently fruit and crops aren't that important.

Now people don't have to bitch about bees going extinct.

that's the reason scientists developing them (to have a backup when bees die) . atleast in germany.
But the bit fluffy ones are so cute. Just flying around not bothering anyone not hurting anyone sometimes running into things and just going about it's happy little business.
If we focus on saving bees without having a legitimate back up plan then should saving the bees fail, we will have nothing and it will be a scramble to fix it.
Are you saying that the micro robotics engineers should drop their work on mini robo bees and go learn the stuff needed for bee saving rather than do what they love and have expertise in to make us a good back up plan? Science isn't just one glob of people all working on the same thing at the same time.

That's just like saying "Are you a doctor? Then why aren't you curing cancer?"
p. s: thats how the robot "bees" look like http://geekologie.com/2017/02/15/robotic-drone-pollinators.jpg there just quadrocopter who are sticky. the picture in this post here is just a 3d rendering and is not existing in reallife. it's coming from a video from greenpeace. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CGTNjPow3LM
But yes, that was imo one of the best, if not THE best, episode of the show. I 'm so excited for the next season.
