My problem with American food (or at least the American foods that are exported) isn’t that they aren’t “mild” enough. It’s that almost everything, even the flipping bread(!) is way too sweet

As an American, I cannot comprehend bread being sweeter, or any more mild than it already is. I'm half-tempted just to travel to confirm this for myself.

Bread can be bought online. Or you could make a loaf with a european recipe.

Me and my friend always comment on how British food is never spicy enough, such as when trying a sauce or pepper that is claimed to be 'fiery' happens to be too mild.

And then we have marmite which has a very strong taste and most Americans (based on the small sample of BuzzFeed videos I've seen) can't stand.
