What war? It is called an invasion. If the US stops interfering with other countries and stop the so called "spreading democracy" scheme, none of this would've happen. Leave people alone for goodness sake!
1) By fucking with other countries, you provoke many groups of people to turn into terrorists 2) the number of "terrorists" that they killed is extremely small. All they do is kill innocent civilians and then call it "collateral damage". It's time to stop.
We do not provoke the terrorist on purpose we just have different opinions than us and othe people so they attack and we try to stop them in their tracks
Dear Iccarus, do please stop your attempts to be mgoveia and please stop writing such horrible posts to a touching post. Just so you know, I'm not the same guest you were having such a heated 'debate' with earlier.
New guest. I do not agree that the military is horrid, you owe these people your lives. But having to leave your family is a sacrifice only the bravest are willing to make, and I cannot imagine how hard it is. Anyone else agree? It must be awful yet many think it worth it. I just can't even imagine.
My brothers friends dad is in the army and he is hilarious. He has a three year old and an 8 year old. I hope that wars just stop because they take people way from their families
Everyone in the U.S. military is their of their own accord.
They know what they signed up for.
The best we can do stateside is to not decry war, but to support the people fighting it.
No warrior worth their salt would be fighting if they didn't believe their cause is just. Telling them the war is wrong is worse than slapping them in the face.
but it's still your own choice to become a soldier.... no one has got to do it, it is their choice but i don't say that they shouldn't do it but this is a consequences you have to accept. and I totally agree with iccarus
Yeah. It's their choice, but someone's gotta do it. And don't tell me you wouldn't cry if you were in the army. Sometimes it might not be their choice. Think about stuff before you comment about the angels of our country.
Seriously. Just because he is fucking man enough to actually defend his country. Don't slam him saying he knew that he would leave his family behind, because he isn't and he is the reason that America is free and remains that way
Plus you may choose to became a soldier, but it isn't your choice when you get deployed. He could have gone, come back, and is now being sent out again.
Maybe he didn't have a fucking family when he signed up. You can't just fucking drop out once you do. U have breaks in btween battles, you fall in love, you get married, and you start a family because you don't want to give up the woman you love.Shit happens. They pull you back. You suddenly find your a daddy, but your life is in the line and you can't drop out. It doesn't work that way. So shut up and give this man some respect! And trust me, I know this stuff. I'm a military daughter and wife. My father was in that perdicatment and now my husband is too. So don't you dare tell me different. Sorry, for my language. I get really angry when people talk like that against the military. They're my family, and nobody talks bad about my family. Okay, end of rant. >.<
who said i was talking against the military, my brother was in the military for 21 years. it's a choice, what i don't get is people that join, and then complain about having to be deployed. Like a cop that shoots someone and then goes on stress leave. but i understand, women often misinterpret and misread things.
Same guess as above. Don't start the whole we misinterpret things shannonagons, I understand you weren't speaking against the military. My apologies if it came off that way, but lets something straight. Yes it is a choice, sometimes it's a last resort when you can't do anything else with your life. But once you make the choice to join, your in. And ya, they complain about getting deployed. Do you know why? Because they didn't realize what they were stepping into the first time. It's scary stuff out there. After what you see, you don't want to go back. Like watching a horror movie that really shook you to the core and then being forced to watch another that's a little different but still scary as shit. Once your in, your in. You can't just walk away. That's that. Srry for my long answer again. I'm a bit long winded.
first "I get really angry when people talk like that against the military." you did think i was talking against the military, second, joining the military and not expecting to be deployed is like going for a swim and not expecting to get wet, and no one can "force you" to watch a horror movie, and if you think you won't see anything "scary", then there's only one person you're fooling. third, *shenanigans, *lets get, *you're, *yeah, *you're, *you're, *sorry
Original guest with long winded posts. To other guest thank you. Need I say more? You are simply stupid in military matters. Your argument is invalid. Oh, and did you really read my last monologue of a post, or did your stupidity and anger get in the way. I'd like to see you do what they do. I'm almost positive you would be one of the new recruits that die the first trip out there. Please leave such a touching post to rest as other people have said. Ur stupidity is hurting the feels in this post.
