Dafuq is wrong with@Helyren? Unless he ate the snake if it was poisonous it wouldn't matter. If it was venomous, well that'd be another story.

And either way, if it was moulting, it's still his fault. Even the best tempered snake can lose it's shit when it's confined in it's own skin and can't see past the fluid in it's eyecaps

As a snake owner I can confirm. My ball python whos very sweet gets a little jumpy when he sheds. I just leave him be for the most part. He’s never struck at me while in shed but when I do mess in his tank when he’s shedding he’s a lot more careful of my hands/the snake hook.
