If you can't care for everyone unconditionally don't go into a care profession

If you work at an ER the last thing you will think about is "what's the patients lifestyle"

In some cases they have to think about lifestyle choices but more in the “are they on drugs that will interact with what we’re about to give them” where you ALWAYS tell the truth because it can save your life

Sweet source friend it can lead to complications but it rarely leads to death it’s not even to do with the chemicals interacting they just both give you an increase in heart rate leading to an increase and blood pressure during the operation which can lead to problematic bleeding

Who the fuck would actually have a problem with that? You take the oath for a fucking reason.

It is a matter of life and death. Why should a person sexual orientation matter? Would a member of LGBT community be less deserving to be saved?

The only reasoning I can understand is a situation that requires expertise or more experience (like hormonal replacement for trans community for example) in which case it is beneficial for the patient to be referred out. Other than that is really breaking the oath SPECIALLY in an ER situation.

Do no harm means you get over yourself and help your patient, unless of course you want to lose your job, license, and possibly be brought up on charges.

You won't really want to treat drug addicts in the ER either if you "don't want to treat them because of their lifestyle". What kinda bullshit is this??
