Those trees' roots would be jammed together from being so close to each other. I don't think that'd be healthy for them.

As someone with a degree in forestry and that works for a tree care company, I can confirm that the amount of competition would be unhealthy and that many of the trees would die.
With a degree in forestry you should be common with the fact that it's harshly depending on the type of tree. And that trees of the same sort will do their utmost to keep their neighbors alive. Planting different types of trees will increase the competitive stress.
In Germany, there are forests designated to bury people in. You can either choose an exisitng tree to be buried under, or you can have your own tree planted on your grave.
In general, this idea only works if you are buried naturally, which means no concrete grave, no heavily painted coffin, no replacement of body fluids etc...
