Someone on suicide watch isn't just another patient. Whether you see the nurses or not they're monitoring you very frequently to see that you're okay. I'd also like to say that the cropping of the image is misleading because we don't know what, if any, medication or special care she received during her time.
It’s also quite odd to see a typo in an official form like this. They wrote “Amountt” instead of “Amount”. I’m not saying that typos are impossible - but it is odd to see in forms that are usually computer generated.
Working in the medical field I find this sad. It's over priced I'm sure insurance paid too...but like we do have to charge for time it takes to take care of any and all patients or the hospital/office can't pay workers too.
If you want attention, next time just call a hotline. Taking up a bed in a climate controlled building staffed by people with phd’s and you want $50/night with a continental breakfast?

Being mentally ill is not attention seeking my mom has had depression for over 10 years and she might be bi polar although that hasn't been confirmed as yet if you lived with someone or had it yourself you wouldn't say it was attention seeking
(different guest) In assuming the best of intentions from the guest, he/she could just be meaning that giving attention to a suicidal person can often help them not commit suicide. I literally just finished a suicide prevention training yesterday and listening to suicidal people or having them call or text hotlines to be listened to was a pretty common theme. The guest might have meant, worded differently, "Hey, helpful life tip if you're feeling suicidal again: call a hotline! They'll be able to help you. Hospitals are expensive to run and staff so they're expensive to stay in, but a hotline is free."
Posting this shit on the internet is attention seeking behavior.

Or perhaps an attempt at finding people in similar situations to share advice or coping mechanisms. Often it helps you feel better just knowing you aren’t the only one who feels that way.
