I love these, whenever I visit Egypt there’s a similar setup by my grandpas apartment where people will provide food for the poor and homeless to eat every day in Ramadan. I wish it were possible to have it every day of the year instead of only during the month of Ramadan

I love the spirit of Ramadan. Everyone just comes together, and idk what it is the whole month feels different and not a part of a usually sucky life. Was going somewhere and on the way saw that most footpaths were covered with a cloth on which plates of food were put. Really warmed my heart to see the poor eating properly, even if it was only for these few weeks. Wish it would happen every day of the year.

That's not said when eating? It is during prayer though.

They have other sentences too like alhamdo le lah (praise to god or thanks to god) which is send as a blessing after eating food

Why did that get downvoted? It just means 'God is greatest'.

Traditionally females eat separately maybe that's the case here they are eating in an adjacent place andno pictures would be taken naturally

Don't worry, in our progressive western society, women will continue to eat separately, but they will be the ones featured in the newspapers and on camera, instead of men. :)
