But if your ass happen to "miss place" that extremely old and tattered copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone than you will be paying full price as if it was a brand new book from the day it was printed.
AND THAT WAS BS MRS STANLEY I SHOULD HAVE NOT HAD TO PAY THAT MUCH FOR THAT BOOK YLTHAT WAS HIGH WAY ROBBERY AND YOU KNOW THAT!

But in order to replace the old book they have to buy a new book at new book prices. That's all they're saying.

But they tend to drastically inflate the price. My library said I owed $120 for 1 kids book and 2 Elmo DVDs on Amazon the total is less than $20.

I think in that case you should just be able to buy them a replacement. Then all you have to pay would be any late fees you’ve accrued.

That's a rip. My library charges the current Amazon price for replacements.
