I just read that 2 out of three Turkish people in Germany (which makes about 2 million people) have voted for Erdogan.
I fully understand if one doesn't want to live in his country any longer and I support everyone seeking a new home elsewhere, but moving away and then voting for the former homeland to drown in a fascist dictatorship is a level of sass I can't cope with.
Most of turkish people moved to Germany long before Erdogan. It's first. When you link some country to fascism or dictatorship you must argue this, not only yell like dumbassed child. Cause it is your private opinion. Proofs? Mind? Logic? Or did you only hear this info somewhere?
I did not intend to imply that people left Turkey because of Erdogan, that's why I didn't say it. Well, for academics it's forbidden in the moment anyway and journalists not being in line with AKP are either in prison or in exile and the remaining media is almost completely owned by "the government" which isn't having any power as all strategic political decisions can be made by the president and he who doesn't agree is a terrorist...
