I read somewhere that petting can build up static in the fur but we dont notice it nor pick up on when a cat wants us to stop. So it makes us stop the only way we understand

there are this anti-static armbands.. do you think this could help? i know it sounds strange, lol. but.. maybe.. ?

Ive also read it's not static but over stimulation. In which case the static sont help
