Where we use to live the street would flood stright up half of the yard and even though we call the city before it got past the cement they still wouldn't come out till the rain stopped. So it was like sorry but umm...
Lowe's and Home depo sells sand bags and I hear you can get a rubber raft at Dick's sporting goods.
The street was so flooded if you had any type of car it would flood the engine with water if you tried to use it. Lucky us our neighbor was super nice and had a big truck.
It was all thanks to a stuffed up storm drain.
O and this was in California during it's so called drought. lol
When I lived in Houston it was totally normal to have the drains raised a few inches, so there would be a lovely little lake with a drain in the center like an island, still above water.
