Seriously, your source is TUMBLR? Why is one screen capped post more reliable than the other? A service dog is trained depending on specific needs of the person they aid. It's not uncommon to have a dog trained to stay if it is a situation like seizures where they may hurt themselves, while others are trained to seek aid if their owner had fallen and is incapacitated. Few people with seek out a barking dog to find out the cause, but if that fog comes up to them barking and trying to direct them they are more likely to pay attention.

If their human is in medical emergency they're probably trained to seem help. It's a useless service dog if it doesn't go anywhere because their unconscious human can't command them to get help.
there is a danger of them going away to find help is that if someone does come across the person in distress while their dog is away they might call an ambulance and leave the dog behind without being aware thwy had a Service Dog in the first place. The dog might go into a panic if it cant find its owner.
