Ooo cool! I may have to amend my statement now, though, since I'm not quite at that point in my life where I want to spend $45 on a pair of socks. If I spent a lot of time being outdoorsy, though- especially in the winter- I could see these being really nice

Maybe ask for them as a gift for a birthday or holiday :P I know what you mean tho, I wouldn't want to spend 45 for a single pair either.

You can wash them in the washing machine with cold water. Then tumble dry on low or hang to dry to avoid shrinkage. At least that's what the site says.
