Cats can jump, you know. I've seen ours jump to about my shoulder height.

Lotus, my ninja cat, could jump over my head. She never actually jumped over my head, but she jumped on furniture a good foot and a half taller than me. When she was a kitten she could jump straight onto my shoulder and chill there like a parrot.... I miss her :/
