What the post is saying is that they deliberately slowed it down for the other platforms, what I'm saying is since they own it, they optimised it to work with their own product. If they can make it so that it works fast with google, why wouldn't they? I don't really know how to explain what I'm trying to say tbh.

I think I see what you're saying. This guy is saying YouTube is purposefully using an old API that Edge and Firefox already trashed but Chrome still builds in. They're actually being d*cks on purpose if he's right.
