Maybe they don’t like avocado toast but feel obligated to eat it every morning.

Tbh I tried avocado toast and didn't find it tasted good. Or really had taste at all. It was just kind of a weird, wet texture, that I don't think goes particularly well with toast

Avacados need to be really ripe and you have to add a lot of salt to really get their flavor.

I see. Well, Salt would be another thing I've never associated with putting directly on my toast. Adding that much salt seems like it would kind of go against the whole "avocados are super healthy for you" mantra

Salt isn’t bad for you unless you are overdoing it. Avocados are perceived to be a healthier alternative to peanut butter on toast though I’m not sure that’s completely accurate if you aren’t using peanut butter with a bunch of extra stuff in it.
