Maybe. I don’t usually eat sauces on food. Especially strong ones. They are not only usually high in empty calories, but they obscure the flavor of what you put them on. If I wanted to taste BBQ sauce, I would drink BBQ sauce. If I want to taste a chicken, I eat chicken.
BBQ sauce doesn’t taste good on anything, even barbecue. Now hollandaise, alfredo, carbonara, pesto, bernaise... they prevent me from ever having a no sauce rule.
