But they don't see them in real life. There is a difference. There is fascination. It's curiosity. Some people might think it's racist or offending or embarrassing, but look at the other side of the story. They are just simply curious.

The people who will be shown the picture to also just gonna see the person through the device and not irl
I think it's the same thing you take a picture of anything. Sure, I can look at a picture of the Grand Canyon online, but if I take a picture from my perspective, I can look back on the memories. It's yours. Unique. It has sentimental value.
My grandpa was a Dutch guy in a Japanese fishing village about 50 years ago and he never saw the end of people freaking out about his height, his appearance, and always trying to meet him/staring and looking away.
