Hit blunt

Makes me think a bit of the chrysalids book

I remember reading that in class, I didn't terribly enjoy the pacing of it, especially the end

It was a bit oddly paced, but it's an older book. I actually picked it from a selection of like 5 books we could choose. Can't remember the other ones that were options, but overall I thought it was interesting. Someone else picked "to kill a mocking bird" and hated every second of it, so I was at least glad I'd found something I was moderately enjoying.
