Heart rate increase but not alertness

Instead of caffeine, this is me at work while high. Even smoking a sativa, placing hot coals around people on a very small surface area gets me anxious at first. For the past 3 days I've had like half a blunt in my cig box and I've been saying to myself "When this shit calms down I'm gonna smoke this".... but it never comes... always too much shit. Wtf happened to last week when there were two people instead of me and this job was fucking easy?
