Google actively curates what it has on its programs notably having deleted many a paper that had anything in it they didn't want written. I doubt spying on your folders in google drive is any different

Maybe that is so, I haven't cared to find out. I know for quite a fact that Google doesn't seem to know if a Snapchat photo was demanded to be deleted. I also happen to have many gifs of bouncing boobs as my dearest enjoyed them far more than I ever did. I also have a few softcore photos on there for art references. Google photos automatically uploads my saves which I'm okay with as it is quite helpful.
