Isn’t kind of weird we’re the only species that drink other species’ milk?

I'd say specifically past birth. I've seen plenty of videos of puppies latching onto cat mammas and visa versa. But yeah its kind of weird... makes you wonder how we figured it out it the first place lol
It depends on how you look at it. Orphaned animals that have no mothers or wet nurses available can be and often are fed a mixture of other animal milks to give them the nutrition they need. Similarly, animals nursing from different species' has also been observed and is not entirely uncommon. I've also seen few adult dogs or cats that turn their noses up when offered cow milk or dairy products.
I don't think the reality is so much that other animals can't or won't seek out or drink milk from other species, it's more that they haven't rightly figured out how to go about doing it. And are unlikely to in the future. We've spent a great deal of time domesticating cows and goats and such and working out the logistics behind extracting their milk and storing it. As much as a cat loves cow milk, it's unlikely to be able to figure out and be able to get milk from a cow's udder on it's own. Even if the cow tolerated it, the cat's mouth and teeth are poorly shaped to accomplish it
Orphaned animals are cool drinking milk from another species so they don't starve and don't go out of their way for it as adults. They're not farming other creatures for the sole purpose of stealing their milk.
Fun fact most adult cats are lactose intolerant and cow's milk is actually bad for them~
I don't think humans started drinking milk for shits and giggles. It most likely was also to prevent starvation, we just realized we can continue using it. Female animals typically also eventually stop lactating and wouldn't be able to support animals trying to drink their milk anyway. That doesn't change the fact that many animals, if they could, probably would. Most animals don't farm other animals at all
And giving cats cow Milk in excess is bad for them for more reasons than just lactose intolerance
Ins't it kind of weird we're the only species that wear clothes and shoes, use glasses to see, forks to eat, knife to cut, computer to do stuff, cook, fly with planes, drive cars, have jobs, shit in fancy china... yeah, perhaps human beings are not "exactly" like other species, but I might be wrong (this message aint written on a phone, I just peed on it to communicate with you, dear fellows).
Haha ! I had never eaten cooked oysters until I visit Japan (their oyesters are huge like a steak...)
I also used to dislike raw oysters, but after a trip in Bordeaux (a French city close to the ocean), i realised there are many sorts of oysters and i eventually found one type I pretty much enjoyed, even if they were as fresh and raw as possible.
Just remember any raw foods (particularly meats, including seafood) has the potential to carry very harmful bacteria and parasites and should either be cooked or *properly* frozen to the appropriate temperatures before consumption
I was talking about preparation before eating more than transportation. And I only mentioned it because you said "only nature is the good chef," so it seemed worth bringing up that foods eaten raw as nature provides them are generally not safe. Even foods served in sushi restaurants if they don't have their temperature lowered significantly enough to destroy parasites and bacteria beforehand can be dangerous
Oh man, I didn't know that ! Is this why we are told to put fresh and frozen food into specific bags, then to come back home as fast as possible to finally put it in a fridge ? I always thought it was some kind of conspiracy, so I always put meat and fish in my closet or let 'em 3 days in the back of my car on a sunny spot !
Joke aside, why don't you understand "in case of raw oysters, only nature is the good chef" as a whole and simple sentence ? Am I mentioning sushis ? No. I'm talking about fresh oysters that I ate in a town that is literally one of the biggest French harbours. They take oysters from the sea, they transport 'em properly on a few kilometers and they serve 'em in restaurants. End of story. The very only & last thing done by caters, is to open the oysters and put them on a plate with fresh lemon aside.
Mate, I'm worry about you : why do you need to explain unnecessary (and uncorrect) stuff to random people on Funsubstance's comment section ?
I actually find your reactions so far insanely humorous <.<
I did warn you you might be offended, I apologize that you failed to properly prepare yourself for that.
Given you seem to be about 13 or English is potentially not your first language and your only manner of defence is nonsensical rants and regurgitating my own insults back at me, I'll try and show Mercy and leave you to your nonsense
Man, don't be so easily upset, I'm teasing you and you get nut by thinking you are in some holy crusade to defend Darwin.
You're the one who wants me to change my point of view, nice, but you don't even realise that my own culture is different from yours. I've been in the US many times and I know how people there tend to panic about anything, especially aboud food infection and stuff.
In my country, we're used to eat molded stuff and raw flesh without any specific treatment and we are doing just fine.
Yes, there may be a risk, just like you can be killed by a drunk driver when crossing the street.
So please, also try to open your own mind before thinking everyone's stupid.
Peace and love <3

Mind you that's just two links but I'm too lazy to try and fight Darwin off today
