Let’s also agree that doing laundry and doing dishes is not an accomplishment,
1) a machine does it for you
2) it’s called being an adult
3) I do both the majority of the time even though I work 90 hours/week and my wife works 40, I don’t expect any recognition for running a machine.
It is not an achievement and we wish we didn't have to have periods! At least painful ones. But let's be honest, sometimes... ok, if you are in a situation maybe like you are at work cramping and have to do your job and a male coworkee might be the one complaining about a minor thing, it bothers you and you think really!?. I often think of women in the military for example. What if you start cramping in the middle of a mission? Major props to them. Not props for the previous but if we complain of pain or being uncomfortable in our normal jobs, inside them.
Thank god you outlined the comment I was supposed to take note of. Sure it takes up a majority of the picture but I know I and others in the group of Epic Top Comment wouldn't have found it otherwise.
Yes I can bleed for 5 days and not die. Have you ever continuously popped an annoying pimple?! Even in my teenage years I got maybe 6 pimples a year, but I still get them... and if I wanted... bleeding for 5 days is easy.
