If you look at a job like CEO or President- it’s really not humanly possible. There are so many variables, statistics, moving pieces, unknowns... no human being can know just what they need to know to make a fully educated decision on a high level, and then can’t know what the outcome of that action and the outcomes of those outcomes. Simply put- no one is perfect. So people do their best. Look at all the things modern life requires you to keep track of, look at the verification and research you have to do just to prove a simple news story is accurate or even true. People just do their best. Confidence is facing what you haven’t faced, but having trust in yourself that based on what you have faced that you can adapt and succeed. If you can’t trust yourself to succeed at something, how can others trust you? If others can’t trust you, how can you lead them, how can they rely on you? That’s what it comes down to. The farther we push ourselves the more we face the unknown.
