Class size makes a big difference too. 100 level courses usually have the most and 400+ the least

(Psst... what do 100 level and 500 level mean? Is it the number of hours of class? It seems too high for that. I'm confused.)

Generally it's the level of difficulty. An easier way to think of it is 100= Freshman, 200= Sophomore, etc...
