We an argue over wether ferrets are more/less/equal fun to a cat or a dog (I’d say they are more fun than cats for sure, but dog is a little more questionable...) However, I don’t see how this person could classify a Ferret as being less effort than a cat (which an outdoor cat you don’t even actually have to feed- even though you likely should,) or a dog- unless they’ve never owned a ferret or a cat/dog. Ferrets by nature are somewhat high effort pets. And most places they are uncommon and somewhat exoctic which automatically makes the effort involved higher simply because caring for their basic needs isn’t nearly as simple. There are other examples that we can argue based on personal feelings, or maybe could be tweaked a little on the chart, but this one is one that stands out to me as being way off, with Rabbits also being misplaced in my experience.

I'd say monitor lizards are pretty high on the fun/effort scale. They're just as smart as dogs.
Have you watched any Canada??? The guy is a genius
